Reliable Charitable Foundation of Hope (RCFOH) is a registered private Canadian charity managed by a dedicated group of board members. Our aim is to provide food, housing, clothing, education, and healthcare partnering with other non profit organizations and volunteers focusing on the needs of children who have been orphaned or affected by the AIDS virus and other tragedies. Our goal is to promote self-sufficiency and sustainability operating on the principle that this should bring about long term social change. We believe that by equipping the African community, that they in turn will change their continent with a better hope for the future.
David Hazzard - Home With Jesus
Rev. Hazzard, a Beloved member of our board, a VERY significant visionary, a powerful legacy builder, and his beautiful heart to serve the kingdom of God, has experienced what it is to have God call you home to your eternal reward.
With heavy hearts, and also the hope of Heaven, David's family were at his side on May 27th, 2021, as his final earthly breath was taken and an amazing moment occurred as David met his Lord and Saviour face to face. We weep in sorrow along with his beautiful wife Stacey, and their children and grandchildren. We're sad as we all have to be without this AMAZING man, but full of joy as he has received his reward.
David is being reunited with those gone on before, and in particular with Joe, the co-founder of this foundation. David played a VERY influential part in the success of where the foundation is today, and the success of the Village of Hope Chongwe. We're so thankful for David's wisdom and his heart for Africa, he will be greatly missed.
